How to Understand Male vs. Female Threading

• Apply appropriate thread sealant to the male threads of the component you are attaching this coupler to.
• Thread the 1/2" FPT socket onto your corresponding 1/2" MPT hose or accessory.
• The coupler is now ready to receive a 1/2" QC plug.
